Communications Engineer Houston, TX

My customer is looking for a voice and data communications resource….Cisco routers and switches, Citrix, traditional PBX, wireless etc….very much a converged communications company.

The fun thing to do for me as a recruiter is to recruit for companies whose executives respect IT and give it the budget to invest in cutting edge infrastructure….not to mention that it is great to recruit for companies with great benefits and phenomenal growth. They are a $600 million dollar company today with growth to $1 Billion expected in 2008. Growth for the industry as a whole is expected to increase by 6% every year until at least 2012….and even better for specialty companies such as the one I am recruiting for.

They are currently 800 employees, and expected to grow by another 200 worldwide this year. I also have to say that I have personally worked with the hiring manager at another company.

He is a very good guy, and I remember that his people enjoyed working for him. The new person would be the third in the group, with great potential for lateral growth in other areas of IT or up the ladder vertically.
